Bobby Marquez brings extensive coaching experience and a long professional playing background to Texans Baseball. He played collegiately at Galveston College before spending 13 years in professional baseball with the Montreal Expos, Milwaukee Brewers, and Toronto Blue Jays. Bobby began coaching in 2011 and has experience working with athletes ranging from ages 4 to 19.
Bobby joined Texans Baseball in 2021 and currently coaches the 12U, 14U, and 15U teams. The most rewarding part of coaching for him is watching players grow as they learn to play the game the right way—both from their coaches and from each other. He is excited to see each team continue improving with every practice, game, and tournament this season. When he’s not coaching, Bobby enjoys watching Texans football.
