Craig Rodriguez brings a dynamic background in baseball as both a player and coach. He played at St. Pius X High School, Pearl River Community College, and University of Mississippi. Craig was drafted twice and signed professionally after the 2007 draft with the Colorado Rockies, playing three and a half years before retiring due to injury.
He began his coaching career in 2011 and has coached at the high school, junior college, and Division I levels, including stops at St. John’s School, Northwest Florida State College, University of Mississippi, and University of Tennessee at Martin, as well as in the Cape Cod Baseball League. Craig has experience coaching athletes from 9U through the collegiate level and has been part of Texans Baseball for three years, currently coaching the 11U Navy team. The most rewarding part of coaching for him is seeing players trust the process, experience success, and take pride in their growth. He looks forward to watching his team compete every day this upcoming season. Outside of baseball, Craig enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa, and their son Logan, along with golfing and fishing in their backyard.
